General Questions

Yes, we can take your order by phone then email and send your map to you. Orders can be placed by phone between 8.30 am and 5.30pm on weekdays. Our number is 01856 898 022.
Look for the https in the address bar, this shows that we have met stringent security criteria.
We offer a full range of scales suitable for planning applications. This includes Block Plans or Site Plans at 1:200 and 1:500 scale and Location Plans at 1:1,1250 and 1:1,2500 scale. We can also supply maps to any other scale you require. If you are not sure what scale your map needs to be please refer to your Planning Office for their specific requirements.
PDF, Word Doc, Jpg, Autocad DWG and DXF. You can add print copies when purchasing PDF, Word Doc and Jpg.
PDFs are compatible with all PCs, if you do not have a program that can read PDFs please use Adobe Acrobat Reader. This can be downloaded free from http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
Yes, you can mark your boundaries in red and blue on our plans, and all copies will feature these boundaries. You can also annotate our plans in Word, please select Word format for your plan when ordering.
Yes, the website is available 24hours a day, 365 days a year. Orders are processed instantly and automatically, so you do not need to wait for business hours.
Yes, of course; we give you a full preview of the map before you purchase. This means you will know exactly what you are going to get before you pay for it.
Your map is created automatically and instantly available for download from our website. The map is also sent out to you by email – this can take up to 20 minutes to arrive.
Yes, the files are sized to A4. Please ensure you are printing the document at 100%, do not select “fit to size” or “scale to fit” when printing.
Under the terms of the licence you can print 1 copy of each plan ordered (unless you have a Paper Maps Copying Licence from Ordnance Survey). If you need more than this please choose the 4 Printed Maps option.
Yes, all plans ordered from us are suitable for electronic use, including sending by email.
No, our DXF and DWG files are not georeferenced. However they do carry gridlines for your ease of use. For examples of our DXF and DWG files please see our samples.

Yes, we can create maps in any size and format. For details of this service, please contact the office on 01856 898 022
We accept most UK credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Yes, all orders are stored online for 3 months.
If you have made a mistake please contact us straight away and we will do our best to help.
We will print 4 copies of any pdf, jpg or word plans ordered, from £2.99. The price is dependent on the area covered by your map. You will be able to check the price to print your map before ordering. Plans are printed on quality, 120gsm paper in full colour. If your map is ordered in Black and White the printed copies will also be black and white.
Your prints are dispatched within 3 days by Royal Mail Second Class.
Yes, using our Express Print Service – orders are sent out within 24 hours by Royal Mail First Class. The cost for this is £6.50.
A UK Planning Maps Trade Account allows multiple purchases to be invoiced together at the end of the month. It is suitable for anyone who expects to order 5 or more maps a month. To further recognise our Trade Account holders we offer a further 15% discount on all prices. More details on Trade Accounts.
No, at present our data does not cover Northern Ireland.
No, Ordnance Survey Site Plans are not available for free, however you can make your own map for more details in what you'd need to include please see free site plan.
