Trade Account Questions
A UK Planning Maps Trade Account offers a 15% discount on all orders and simple monthly invoicing. Trade Accounts are exclusively for professional users of mapping.

No, there is no fee for our Trade Accounts.

Yes, certainly; UK Planning Maps Trade Accounts are open to all professional users of mapping.
We use Ordnance Survey Mastermap® Data.
Ordnance Survey updates our data every 6 weeks.
No, we do not charge any browsing fee. However due to the terms of the Ordnance Survey Partner Licence we are charged a small fee every time someone views data on our website. We ask you to be considerate and not to preview lots of maps you do not intend to purchase.
No, at present our data does not cover Northern Ireland.
Autocad DWG, DXF, Word Doc, PDF and JPG
Yes, the website is available 24hours a day, 365 days a year. Orders are processed instantly and automatically, so you do not need to wait for business hours.
Your map is created automatically and instantly available for download from our website. The map is also sent out to you by email – this can take up to 20 minutes to arrive.
No, our DXF and DWG files are not georeferenced. However they do carry gridlines for your ease of use.
Our DXF and DWG files are prepared to be compatible with Autocad 2004 and above. If your version of Autocad is older than this please let us know when you set up your account and we will automatically process your orders in an older file format.
Yes, please see this sample, for an indication of how these appear.
Yes, on PDF, Word Doc and Jpg you can mark your boundaries in red and blue on our plans, and all copies will feature these boundaries. You can also annotate our plans.
Yes, we can create maps in any size and format. For details of this service, please contact the office on 01856 898 066
Yes, you can enter a job reference against each order.

Yes, all orders are stored online for 3 months.
You can use any browser to access our service.
We will print 6 copies of any plans ordered for free, you only pay £2.13 Postage and Packaging (this price includes the Trade Account discount). Plans are printed in full colour on quality paper.
Your prints are dispatched within 3 days by Royal Mail Second Class. If you need them in a hurry please consider our Express Print Service.
Yes, using our Express Print Service – orders are sent out within 24 hours by Royal Mail First Class. The cost for this is £5.53 (including the Trade Account discount).
Yes, we can. Please contact us to let us know your order number. An additional fee applies.
Yes, invoices are itemised by file type, area and job reference.
Payment Terms are 15 days and most customers tend to settle by Direct Debit for ease.
We offer Direct Debits to all customers. We can also accept BACS and Credit Card payments. Credit Card payments incur a 3% Credit Card processing fee. We cannot accept cheques.
If you intend to copy paper maps, then yes, you will still need a PMCL. This is available directly from Ordnance Survey here. http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/business-and-government/licensing/licences/paper-map-copying.html
Under the terms of the licence you can print 1 copy of each plan ordered (unless you have a Paper Maps Copying Licence from Ordnance Survey). If you need more than this please choose the 6 Free Printed Maps option.
